AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25 OF THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH BY ADDING A NEW
SECTION THERETO PROHIBITING SMOKING IN SEATING
PORTION OF THE THEATER OF THE PERFORMING ARTS .
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 25 of the Code of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, be and the same is hereby amended by adding
a new section thereto, to be numbered and to read as follows :
"Section 25-125 .
It shall be unlawful for any person to light
or smoke a cigarette, cigar, or pipe in the
seating portion of the Theater of the
Performing Arts . "
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon
passage and posting as required by law.
