AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 789
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA
ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL CLASSIFICATIONS OF
POSITIONS IN THE CLASSIFIED SERVICE OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND
PROVIDING COMPENSATION THEREFOR, PURSUANT
TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE ACT,
AND PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF
THIS ORDINANCE, AND REPEALING ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, PROVIDING FOR PASSAGE
AS AN EMERGENCY MEASURE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the following line be added in numerical sequence,
to Section 1, Part I, American Federation of State, County,
and Municipal Employees, of Ordinance No. 789:
BI-WEEKLY COMPENSATION
RANGE MINIMUM MAXIMUM
"2224 Transitional Guard A 21 339.62 368.09"
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective as of January 21, 1976.
SECTION 4. This ordinance is hereby adopted as an emergency ordinance
under the provisions of Section 9 of the City Charter.
