AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 31A-20 (2) OF
THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH SO AS TO
PROVIDE THAT CERTAIN PURCHASES WITH THE
APPROVAL OF THE AGENT MAY BE MADE BY THE
DEPARTMENTS FOR IMMEDIATE NEED OF SUPPLIES,
MATERIALS , AND CONTRACTUAL SERVICES NOT TO
EXCEED THE MAXIMUM VALUE OF $100. 00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 31A-20 (2) of the Code of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, reading as follows :
" (2) Local purchase orders for certain
purchases with the approval of the agent may
be used by the departments for immediate
need of supplies, materials and contractual
services not to exceed the maximum value of
twenty-five dollars . "
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows :
" (2) Certain purchases with the approval of
the agent may be made by the departments
for immediate need of supplies , materials,
and contractual services not to exceed the
maximum value of one hundred dollars. "
SECTION 2 : All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 : This Ordinance shall become effective ten days after
its passage.
