Ordinance 76-2063 469) f ORDINANCE NO. 76-2063 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 789 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING OF- FICIAL CLASSIFICATIONS OF POSITIONS IN THE CLAS- SIFIED SERVICE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING RANGE AND SALARY FOR TRAN- SITIONAL CLASSIFICATIONS OF RECREATION DIRECTOR, FIREFIGHTER I, POLICE OFFICER, POOL GUARD I, CONCESSION ATTENDANT, RECREATION LEADER, AIR CONDITIONING MECHANIC, AND PLUMBER; ALSO ESTAB- LISHING RANGE AND SALARY FOR CLASSIFICATION OF TREE TRIMMER AND ELIMINATING CLASSIFICATION OF THERAPEUTIC RECREATION SUPERVISOR; ALSO AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION OF RECREATION LEADER AND SALARY RATE TABLE K, AND PROVIDING GRANDFATHER PROTECTION FOR RECREATION LEADERS EMPLOYED ON JUNE 1, 1976; PROVIDING FOR PASSAGE AS AN EMERGENCY MEASURE. That the following line be deleted from Section 1, Part V, Managerial, Supervisory, Confidential, and Supportive, of Ordinance No. 789: BI-WEEKLY COMPENSATION RANGE MINIMUM MAXIMUM "3167 Therapeutic Recreation Supervisor K 36 525.62 647.64" SECTION 8. That the following line in Section 1, Part V, Managerial, Supervisory, Confidential, and Supportive, of Ordinance No. 789, be amended to read as follows: BI-WEEKLY COMPENSATION RANGE MINIMUM MAXIMUM "3060 Recreation Leader K 10 241. 10 272.78" SECTION 9. That Section 1. 1 of Ordinance No. 789, be amended to read as follows: "Any employee who, on September 30, 1975, was entitled to a greater maximum rate of pay than provided by this ordinance, shall retain entitlement to such maximum rate of pay plus any adjustment made to persons in his classification on October 1, 1975. Any employee who, on June 1, 1976, was entitled to a greater maximum rate of pay than provided by this ordinance, shall retain entitlement to such maximum rate of pay. Any adjustment authorized by this section will be proportionally reduced if an employee works less than 40 hours per week." SECTION 10. That Section 1.2 of Ordinance No. 789, be amended to read as follows: "The pay rate steps as set forth in Tables A, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, and amended Table K, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, shall be the basis for pay ranges to which classifications in Section 1 of this Ordinance are assigned." • SECTION 11. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 12. This ordinance shall become effective as of June 3, 1976. SECTION 13. This ordinance is hereby adopted as an emergency ordinance under the provisions of Section 9 of the City Charter. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day . '.
