A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <:

THE CONTRACT FOR '1HITEW.Y CONSTRUCTION

WHEREAS,S, due notice was given to contractors by puhlish-
ing in the Liami Herald in accordance with provisions of the

City Charter, a notice calling for bids for the construction '-`
of the proposed ;Vhiteway designated as Contract 2 W and cover-
ing lighting on lashington Avenue, Alton Road, First Street
and Biscayne Street, and
WHEREAS, bids were received and publically opened at the
Council M: eeting. held on September 8, 1926, in accordance with
said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the contract for the con-
struction of the proposed '47hiteways designated WW-3 and 17'-4
to be known as Contract 2-`,7, be awarded to the Central Station
Equipment Co:iip` ny, it being hereby a.etermined that the bid of
said Central Station Equipment Company is the lowest and best
bid received.
PASSED AND :ADOPTED this 15th day of September, A.D.,
1926 .
