Ordinance 77-2087 ORDINANCE NO. 77-2087
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 25 . 2 OF THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, PERTAINING
TO AIRCRAFT AND PROVIDING FOR PASSAGE AS AN
EMERGENCY MEASURE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 25. 2 of the Code of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, be and the same is hereby amended by adding the
following additional provision thereto:
"and further provided that the City Council may,
in special cases, grant permission for an exception
from the provisions of this Section, and in its
discretion may require such insurance, or surety
bond as may be appropriate to protect the safety
of the City and its residents against any and all
liabilities. "
SECTION 2 . All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be adopted as an emergency measure
in accordance with Section 9 of the Charter of the City
of Miami Beach and shall be effective immediately upon its passage.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of January, 1977 .
