AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF
THE COMMISSIONERS OF THE MIAMI BEACH REDEVELOP-
MENT AGENCY; DESIGNATING THEIR TERMS OF OFFICE;
PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES IN CON-
FLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR PASSAGE AS AN EMERGENCY
MEASURE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That there are hereby appointed five (5) commissioners
of the Miami Beach Redevelopment Agency, the redevelop-
ment agency of the City of Miami Beach existing under the authority
of Chapter 163, Part III , Florida Statutes, as amended by Chapter
77-391, Laws of Florida, and whose initial terms of office shall
be as follows :
Commissioner Initial Term of Office
Stephen Muss 4 years
Max Serchuk 4 years
Marwin Cassel 3 years
Irwin Sawitz 2 years
Norman Braman 1 year
After the initial term of appointments made by this
Ordinance have expired, successor commissioners shall each hold
office for a term of four (4) years.
SECTION 2 : All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 : This Ordinance is adopted as an emergency measure pur-
suant to applicable State law and Section 9 of the
Charter of the City of Miami Beach.
