AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1605 BEING "AN
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
ESTABLISHING A COMPENSATION PLAN FOR OFFICES AND
POSITIONS IN THE UNCLASSIFIED SERVICE, ESTABLISHING
A TITLE CHANGE FROM PUBLIC UTILITIES DIRECTOR TO
PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR; AND ESTABLISHING A SALARY
FOR THE NEW CLASSIFICATION OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
PROJECT COORDINATOR; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR PASSAGE AS AN EMERGENCY
MEASURE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the following line in Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1605 which
reads as follows:

SECTION 2. That the following line be added in numerical sequence, to Section 1
of Ordinance No. 1605:

SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be
and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall become effective as of October 17, 1979.
SECTION 5. This ordinance is hereby adopted as an emergency ordinance under the
provisions of Section 9 of the City Charter.
