AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH AMENDING SECTION 2-71.7 OF THE CITY
CODE TO PROVIDE THAT THE CHAIRMAN AND THE VICE-
CHAIRMAN OF THE MIAMI BEACH REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
SHALL BE SO DESIGNATED BY RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 2-71.7 of the City Code of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, the same being a portion of the
City of Miami Beach Redevelopment Ordinance, be and the same is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 2-71.7. Commissioners; terms of office.
There are hereby appointed five commissioners of
the Miami Beach redevelopment agency, the redevelop-
ment agency of the city existing under the authority
of chapter 163, part III, Florida Statutes, as
amended by chapter 77-391, Laws of Florida, and
whose initial terms of office shall be as follows:

Marwin Cassel
Irwin Sawitz
Norman Braman

1 year
After the initial term of appointments made by
this section have expired, successor commissioners
shall each hold office for a term of four years.

The designation of a chairman and vice-chairman of
the Miami Beach redevelopment agency shall be pro-
vided for by separate resolution of the Miami Beach
City Commission.
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall go into effect upon its passage in
accordance with law.
