AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1605 AMENDING
THE COMPENSATION PAYABLE TO THE LEGAL ASSISTANCE
OFFICER RETROACTIVE TO OCTOBER 1 , 1978; AND PRO-
VIDING FOR PASSAGE AS AN EMERGENCY MEASURE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 : That that portion of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1605 , as
amended by Ordinance No. 78-2146 , reading as follows :
"LEGAL ASSISTANCE OFFICER 1419 529 . 04"
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows :
"LEGAL ASSISTANCE OFFICER 1419 555. 04"
SECTION 2 : That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 : This Ordinance is effective retroactively to October 1,
1978.
SECTION 4 : This Ordinance is hereby adopted as an emergency
ordinance under the provisions of Section 9 of the
City Charter.
