Ordinance 79-2148 ORDINANCE NO. 79-2148
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 25-83 OF THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH BY PROVIDING FOR AN
INCREASE IN THE FEE FOR IDENTIFICATION CARDS;
AND PROVIDING FOR PASSAGE AS AN EMERGENCY
MEASURE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 25-83 of the Code of the City of Miami
Beach reading as follows :
"The sum of two dollars shall be paid for each
such identification card or renewal thereof. "
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows :
"The sum of five dollars shall be paid for each
such identification card or renewal thereof. "
SECTION 2 : All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 : This Ordinance is hereby adopted as an emergency ordinance
under the provisions of Section 9 of the City Charter and
shall be effective immediately upon its passage.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of January, 1979 .
