AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 789 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL CLASSIFICATIONS OF POSITIONS IN THE CLASSIFIED SERVICE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING COMPENSATION THEREFORE,
PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE ACT, AND PROVIDING FOR THE
ADMINISTRATION OF THIS ORDINANCE, AND REPEALING ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE-
WITH, AS AN EMERGENCY MEASURE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the following line be added, in numerical sequence, to
Section 1, Part I, Administrative, Clerical, Professional
and Technical, of Ordinance No. 789.

SECTION 2. That portion of Section 1, Part IV, Public Services, of
Ordinance No. 789, reading as follows:

be and the same is amended to read as follows :
"C. 5330 Pool Guard I A 32 360.00 441.39

SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and
the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall become effective as of October 1, 1973.
SECTION 5. This ordinance is hereby adopted as an emergency ordinance under
the provisions of Section 166.041 , Florida Statutes.
