RESOLUTION NO. 1528
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That pursuant to resolution of this City Council adopted'
December 8th , 1926, an election was held in said City on January
11th, 1927 , for the purpose of submitting to the duly registered
ani qualified voters of said City, who are freeholders therein,
the question whether the following negotiable coupon bonds of
said City should be issued, to-wit:
(a) For paving its streets $195,000.00
(b) For constructing storm and
sanitary sewers $ 28,000.00
(c ) For developing and improving
its public parks $ 30,000.00
(d) For bulkheading waterways
within said City $ 35 ,000.00
(e) For purchasing motor trucks and
equipment for its street and
sewer departments $ 12,000.00
which election was held, the result of which has been returned to
this City Council by the Inspectors and Clerk who conducted said
election.
2. That this City Council has canvassed the said returns,
which canvass was made solely, exclusively and entirely from the
certificates of the return made by said Inspectors and Clerk, and
have found the result of said election to be for the issuance of
said bonds for said purposes, the result being as follows:
145 voters voted Yes , and 19 voters voted No as to the bonds for
paving its streets as aforesaid.
148 voters voted Yes and 14 voters voted No as to the bonds for
constructing storm and sanitary sewers as aforesaid.
145 voters voted Yes and 16 voters voted No as to the bonds for
developing and improving parks as aforesaid.
142 voters voted Yes and 21 voters voted No as to the bonds for

141 voters voted Yes and 19 voters voted No as to the
bonds for purchasing motor trucks and equipment for Street
and Sewer Departments as aforesaid.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this aanuary 12th , 1927.
