RESOLUTION NO. 1530
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Wright-Warlow & Company of Orlando,
Florida, has offered a total of $291,000.00 for $300,000.00
of bonds of this City, authorized by Resolution No. 1529
adopted January 12th, 1927 , a copy of which bid is as follows:

Dear Sir:
We make the following offer for bonds of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, this offer being for all
of said issue and not for one or more less than all:
For $195 ,000.00 Street Paving Bonds, maturing
39 ,000.00 January 1st , A. D. , 1928 to
1932 , inclusive , we will pay . . . . . . . . . . .$189 ,150.00
For 28,000.00 Storm and Sanitary Sewer Bonds,
maturing $5 ,000.00 January let , A. D. ,
1928 to 1930, inclusive; $ 6 ,000.00 Janu-

ary lst , A. D. , 1932, we will pay , . . . . . 27 ,160.00
For 30,000.00 Public Park Bonds, maturing

For 35,000.00 Waterway Bulkhead Bonds ,

For 12 ,000.00 Street and Sewer Department
Equipment Bonds , maturing $3 ,000.00
January 1st , A. D. , 1928 to 1930, in-
clusive; $2 ,000.00 January 1st , A. D. ,

All of said bonds having been authorized by Resolution No.
1529 , passed and adopted by the City Council of said City
on January 12th, 1927, and bearing interest at the rate of
6% per annum, payable semi-annually, said interest and the
principal thereof payable at the office of the United States
Mortgage & Trust Company of New York City, and the validity
thereof to be certified at the time of the purchase by
Messrs. Caldwell & Raymond of New York City.

In addition thereto we will pay acciued interest
on the principal thereof to date of delivery and will
accept delivery at any bank in New York City.
We attach hereto our certified check No. 6556
drawn on and certified by the State Bank of Orlando &
Trust Company of Orlando , Florida, payable to the order
of the City of Miami Beach , Florida , in the total sum
of $3 ,000.00 which check is to be held by you uncashed
as evidence of good faith on our part in the performance
of this agreement , and to accompany the bonds when pre-
sented for delivery, or is to be retained as and for
liquidated damages in case we fail so to take up and
pay for said bonds.

Section 2. That said sum is not less than ninety-seven
cents on a dollar , that said bid be accepted and said bonds be
sold to said Wright-Warlow & Company at private sale without
advertisement thereof, which price is hereby deemed the best
obtainable.
