AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF "THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA"
TO INCREASE THE CITY'S RATE OF CONTRIBU-
TIONS TO THE EMPLOYEES HEALTH INSURANCE
PLAN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA :
SECTION 1. That that portion of Section 2. 55 (b) of
"The Code of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida" reading as follows :
"City. The contribution of the City on
behalf of the members shall be one-half
of the cost of the benefits provided for
in the agreements as such costs are
determined by the board, but not to
exceed one hundred fifteen dollars per
year for an agreement covering a member
only, nor to exceed three hundred twenty-
five dollars per year for agreements
covering a member and his family. . . . "
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows :
"City. The contribution of the City on
behalf of the members shall be one-half
of the cost of the benefits provided
for in the agreements as such costs are
determined by the board, but not to
exceed one hundred thirty-five dollars
per year for an agreement covering a
member only, nor to exceed three hundred
seventy-five dollars per year for agree-
ments covering a member and his family. . . . "
SECTION 2 . That all ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith be
and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall go into effect
as of January 1, 1974.
