RESOLUTION NO. 1543
BE IT RESOLVED 137 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEIGE, FLORIDA:
That the proposal of the Miami Beach Bay Shore Company
of Miami Beach,Florida, for the bonds mentionea in that
proposal and which have been authorized by this City Council,
said proposal being in the words ana figures following:
February 11, 1927.

Dear Sir:
We make the following offer for bonds of the City
of Miami Beach, Plorid.a:
For 437,000.00 *Water Works Bonds, maturing
$7,000.00 July 1st, 1928 to 1942, inclusive,
and. $8,000.00 July 1st, 1943 to 1946,
elusive, we will pay 0.37,000000
All of said bonds to bear interest at the rate
of six per cent per annum, payable semi-annually,
said interest and. the principal thereof payable
at the officeofthe United. States Mortgage
Trust Company of New York City, and. the validity
thereof to be certified. at the time of the purchase
by Messrs. Caldwell & Raymond. of New York City.
In addition thereto we will pay accrued interest on
the principal thereof from January 1st, 1927 to &ate
of delivery and will accept delivery at the Miami
Beach First National Bank in Miami Beach, Florida.
We attach hereto cashierTs check of the Miami Beach
First National Bank of Miami Beach, Floriaa, payable
to the order of the Miami Beach Bay Shore Company,
and. endorse& by us to the order of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, in the sum of 4, 370.00, which check
is to be held by you uncashed as evidence of good.
faith on our part in the performance of this agreement
and to accompany the bonds when presentea for d.elivery,
or is to be retainea as and for lividated. damages in
case we fail so to take up and. pay for saidbonds.

that this City Council, by unanimous vote of the members present,
do hereby resolve to sell said bonas at private sale and that
the bia of said. Miami Beach Bay Shore Company is the best price
aeemea obtainable for said. bonds, and that said. bonds which were

ado ted June 2nd, 1926, shall bear interest at the rate of six
per cent per annum.
