Ordinance 74-2009 ORDINANCE NO. 74-2009
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 OF THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 18-41 of the Code of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended
to read as follows :
"The City is hereby divided into the following
districts: District "A" , "B" , "C" , "D" , "E" ,
"F" , "G" , "H" , H-I" , I" , "JU , "K1 , and "L"
The boundaries of such districts are shown on
the map which is on file in the office of the
city clerk. Such map, together with the
legends, words , figures, symbols and other
explanatory matter thereon, is hereby made as
much a part of this Code as if all of the
matters and information set forth thereon
were fully set forth in this section. "
SECTION 2: That Chapter 18 of the Code of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended by
adding a new section thereto, to be numbered and to read as
follows:
"Sec. 18-50. 3
In any "L" District, the sale of beer and
wine in sealed containers is permitted for
consumption off the premises only. "
SECTION 3: That the map referred to and made a part of Chapter 18
under the provisions of Section 18-41 be and the same
is hereby amended so as to exclude the following described parcel
of land from the "C" District and to include in the "L" District:
Lot 7, Block 1, 41st STREET BUSINESS
SUBDIVISION, according to the plat
thereof, recorded in Plat Book 34, at page
92, of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida (954 - 958 Arthur Godfrey Road) .
SECTION 4: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5: This ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon
its passage and posting as required by law.
