AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 789 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL CLASSIFICATIONS OF POSITIONS IN THE
CLASSIFIED SERVICE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING
RANGE AND SALARY FOR NEW CLASSIFICATIONS OF TRANSITIONAL PARKING
METER CHECKER I, TRANSITIONAL PARKING METER REPAIRMAN I, TRANSITIONAL
ARCHITECT I, TRANSITIONAL GOLF STEWARD, TRANSITIONAL LANDSCAPE
ARCHITECT I, TRANSITIONAL HORTICULTURIST, TRANSITIONAL RECREATION
SUPERVISOR I, TRANSITIONAL COMPUTER PROGRAMMER I, TRANSITIONAL
COMPUTER SYSTEMS ANALYST, TRANSITIONAL BUILDING ATTENDANT, AND
TRANSITIONAL STORES CLERK, PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE
CIVIL SERVICE ACT, AND PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF
THIS ORDINANCE, AND REPEALING ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH,
AS AN EMERGENCY MEASURE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the following lines be added in numerical sequence, to
Section 1, Part I, American Federation of State, County, and
Municipal Employees, of Ordinance No. 789:

SECTION 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall become effective as of January 8, 1975.
SECTION 6. This ordinance is hereby adopted as an emergency ordinance under
the provisions of Section 9 of the City Charter.

in said City on the 8th day of January 1975 ,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty
days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the said
City of Miami Beach.
