RESOLUTION NO.
DISTRICT SK-48 SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT SK-48
BE BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
FThat the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
ite intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter.
SK-48 A five foot Concrete Sidewalk on the following Streets,
Avenues and Place:
Drexel Avenue, on both sides , from Eleventh Street to
Fourteenth Street;
Pennsylvania Avenue, on both sides , from Seventh Street
to the said Fourteenth Street; and on both sides, from
Espanola Way to a line one hundred feet South of Fifteenth
Street; and on the West side, from the said Fourteenth
Street to the said Espanola Way;
Euclid Avenue, on both sides , from Fifth Street to the
said line one hundred feet South of the said Fifteenth
Street;
Jefferson Avenue, on the East side, from Biscayne Street
to First Street; and on both sides , from the said First
Street to the said Fifth Street; and on both sides , from
Sixth Street to the said Eleventh Street;
Michigan Avenue, on the East side, from Second Street to
Third Street; and on both sides from the said Third Street
to the said Fifth Street; and on both sides ,from the said
Sixth Street to the said Eleventh Street;
Lenox Avenue, on both sides , from Fourth Street to the
said Fifth Street; and on both sides , from the said Sixth
Street to Tenth Street; and on the East side, from the
said Tenth Street to the said Eleventh Street;
West Avenue, on the West side, from the North line of
Lot 10, Block 1 , of Fleetwood Subdivision, to the said
Tenth Street, and on the East side, from Ninth Street
to the said Tenth Street;
The said Sixth Street , on both sides, from Alton Road to
the Alley between the said Alton Road and the said Lenox
Avenue; and on the North side, from the said Alley between
the said Alton Road and the said Lenox Avenue , to Meridian
Avenue; end on both sides , from the said Meridian Avenue
to Washington Avenue;
The said Seventh Street , on both sides , from the said Alton
Road to the said Pennsylvania Avenue;
Eighth Street, on both sides , from the said Alton Road to
the sEid. Wasnington Avenue;

The said. Ninth Street, on both sides, from the said
West Avenue to the said Washington Avenue;
The said Tenth Street, on the South side, from the
said West Avenue to the said Lenox Avenue; and on
both sides, from the said Lenox Avenue to the said
Washington Avenue;
The said Eleventh Street, on the North side, from
the said. Alton Road to the said Drexel Avenue;
Twelfth Street, on both sides , from the said Meridian
Avenue to the said Washington Avenue;
Thirteenth Street , on both sides , from the said Meridian
Avenue to the said Washington Avenue;
The said Fourteenth Street, on both sides, from the said
Meridian Avenue to the said Pennsylvania Avenue; and
on the South side, from the said Pennsylvania Avenue to
the said Washington Avenue;
Fourteenth Place, on both sides , from the said Meridian
Avenue to. the said Pennsylvania Avenue;
As said. Streets , Avenues , Road, Place, Alley, Subdivision
and Way are shown on Plate recorded in Plat Book No.16,
Page 1; in Plat Rook No. 6, Pages 17, 62 and 5; in Plat
Book No. 14, Page 60; in Plat Book No. 7, Pages 15 and
160; in Plat Book No. 9, Pages 10, 70 and 147; in Plat
Book No. 2, Page 81 , in Plat Book No. 26, Page 62; and in
Flat Book No. 21, Page 26, all of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida, and as said Avenues are named and
designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plane and specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifi—
cations and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings , the preparation of bonds , interest during construction,
- legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary
end proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided
for; and the estimated amount to he assessed against each front foot
of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments
and bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-48, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District SIC-48.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this Iltj day of Apyil
