RESOLUTION NO. 1589
District SK-49 Sidewalk Improvement SK-49
WHEREAS, the City Council, by resolution passed and adopted
on the 6th day of April , 1927 , ordered the Sidewalk Improvement
SK-49, District SK-491 and the City Engineer, under direction
of the City Council , has prepared and filed with the City Clerk
plans and specifications of such improvement and an estimate of
the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the inci-
dental expenses of said improvement , and whereas due notice by
publication as required by the City Charter has been made that
the City Council would on the 20th day of April, 1927, at the
City Hall in said City, at 10:00 o' clock A. M. , receive and
hear remonstrances of all interested persons to the confirmation
of said resolution ordering said improvement, and no remonstrances
having been presented at the time and place aforesaid,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, that the said resolution of said City
Council ordering said Sidewalk Improvement SK-49, District SK-49,
be and the same is hereby confirmed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of April, A. D. , 1927.

AN ORDINANCE NANCE AMENDING SECTION 25.95 OF
THE
CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA.:
SECTION 1: That Section
25.95 o f The Code of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, reading as follows :
"Sec. 25.95 Same -- Throwing in streets, etc.
It shall be unlawful for any person to throw any paper,
trash, garbage
or debris upon any street, alley, park,
public bay or other or private property in
the City. "
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows :
"Sec. 25.95 Same - Throwing in streets, etc.
It shall l be unlawful for any person to throw any paper,
trash, garbage oP
r debris upon any street, alley, park,
waterway, bay or other public or private property in
the City, provided, however, that nothing in this sec-
tion shall be construed to prohibit residents of Star
Island to place tree and shrubbery trimmings and grass
cuttings at a central collecting point on Star Island
Parkway, to be
designated by the City Engineer and
approved by
the CityManager, said collecting point
to be used only by
the residents of Star Island, and none other, be used and said collecting point shall
limited solely to tree and
as a temporary repository

SECTION 2: That all
ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
