RESOLUTION NO. 1601
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1: That , WHEREAS, application having been made
to the War Department by Mr. William F. Whitman for permission
to erect bulkhead and groynes along the Atlantic Ocean front
on Block 17 of the Ocean Front Property of the Miami Beach
Improvement Company at Miami Beach, Florida, as shown on a
drawing dated May 24th, 1927 , prepared by Mr. William F. Whit-
man to accompany said application to the War Department for
. permit for said construction.
Section 2: That this City Council does hereby waive all
objections to said proposed construction and does hereby autho
rize Claude A. Renshaw, as City Manager of said City, to sign
and deliver in behalf of said City, a written waiver of ob-
jections to the aforesaid construction.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of May, A. D. , 1927.
