RESOLUTION NO, 160
DISTRICT 13-.96 HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT6

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement
is hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting
forth its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City
Charter.

H-96 FOUNTAIN STREET: To beppaved, and where heretofore
paved, repay. 4 ^with a thirty foot roadway on each
side of a tweft4y. foot central parkway, with a
tuminous Wearing Surface on a Lime Rock Base, and
improved with a concrete curb around the said central
parkway and concrete curb and gutter on the outer
edges of the said thirty foot roadway, with necessary
drainage, sewer inlets, manholes and catch basins,
from Biscayne Bay northerly to the South line of Palm
Avenue, and from the North line of the said Palm Avenue
northerly to the said Biscayne Bay; as said Avenue,
Street, Parkways and Bay are shown on Plat recorded
in Plat Book No. 6, Page 54, of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the
cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the
inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of
plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and publi—
cation of notices and proceeding s, the preparation of bonds,
interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the
proceedings and work. herein provided for; and the estimated
amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-96, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District H-96.
