RESOLUTION NO. 166
DISTRICT BH-4 BULKHEAD IMPROVEMENT
BH-4
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter.
BH- - II'TOIAI'T CREEK: A Waterway in said City, to be bulkheaded
on the Westerly line thereof, with a Lime Rock Boulder
Bulkhead, together with the necessary Backfill , from a
point which is the intersection of a line seventeel feet
Southerly of and parallel to the North line of Lot 214 ,
and the said Westerly line of the said Indian Creek, to
a point which is the intersection of the North line of
said Lot 24, and the said Westerly line of°the said Indian
Creek;
Also from a point which is the intersection of a line forty
feet Northerly of and parallel to the South line of Lot 25,
and the said Westerly line of the said Indian Creek, to
a point *Lich is the intersection of a. line eighteen feet
Northerly of and parallel to the South line of Lot 27, and
the said Westerly line of the s=id Indian Creek;
Also from a point which is the intersection of a. line
twenty—six feet Southerly of end perellel to the North
line of Lot 29, and the said Westerly line of the said
Indian Creek, to a point which is the intersection of a
Line twenty—one feet Northerly of and parallel to the
South line of said Lot 29, end the said Westerly line of
the said. Indian Creek;
Also from a. point which is the intersection of a: line
seven feet Southerly of end parallel to the North line
of Lot 31 , and the said Westerly line of the said Indian
Creek, to a point which is the intersection of a line
sixty—nine feet Northerly of and parallel to the South
line of Lot 31, and the said Westerly line of the said
Indian Creek;
Also from a. point which is the intersection of a line
fifty—five feet Northerly and parallel to the South line
of Lot 33, and the said Westerly line of the said Indian
Creek, to a point which is the intersection of a line
ten feet Northerly and parallel to the South line of
Lot 35, end the said Westerly lime of Indian Creek;
Also from a point which is the intersection of a line
twenty—two feet Northerly of and parallel to the South
line of Lot 37 and the said Westerly line of the said
Indian Creek, to a point which is the intersection of a
line thirty feet Southerly of and parallel to the North
line of Lot 38, with the said Westerly line of the said
Indian Creek;
Also from a. point which is the intersection of a line
forty—nine feet Southerly of and parallel to the North
line of Lot 39, and the said Westerly line of the said
Indian Creek, to a point which is the intersection of a
line sixty—five feet Southerly of and parallel to the
North line of Lot 41, and the said Westerly line of the
said Indian Creek;

Also from a point which is the intersection of a line
thirty-nine feet Southerly of and parallel to the North
line of Lot 43, and the said Westerly line of the said
Indian Creek, to a point which is the intersection of
a line twenty-eight feet Northerly of and parallel to
the Southerly line of Lot 45, and the said Westerly line
of the said Indian Creek;
As said Lots and Creek are shown on a Plat recorded in
Plat Book No. 8, Page 61, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida.
Which Bulkhead Improvement and Backfill the City Council
deems to be a special benefit to all of the following
property:
Lots 24, 25 26, 27, 29, 311034, 35, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41,
43, 44 and 45, of the Indian Beach Corporation's Sub-
division as shown on a Plat recorded in Plat Book No. 8,
Page 61, of the Public Records of Dade County, Flor&da;
And the total cost of said Bulkhead Improvement shall be
assessed against the above described property in proportion
to the special benefits derived;
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of said Improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other reurveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and
specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of
notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein
provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each
front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Bulkhead Improvement BH-4, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof
shall be designated as District BH-4.
