DISTRICT WW-7 RESOLUTION NO. 1671 WHITE WAY/WW--7
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
hhat the construction of the following deacrioed improvement is
ereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter.
WW-7 OCEAN DRIVE, from the North line of First Street to
the South line of Sixth Street , to be improved with
a White Way Light system of ornamental posts and lamps
at approximately every one hundred feet on each side
of said Drive, with underground connections for lighting
said Drive; as said Drive and Streets are shown on Plats
recorded in Plat Book No. 2, Page 38; Plat Book No. 3,
Page 151; and in Plat Book No. 4, Page 83; all of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and
specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of
notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other
expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and
work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as White Way Improvement W1...7, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof
shall be designated as District WW-7.
