AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF "THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA" TO
PROVIDE FOR INCREASED COST OF GROUP HEALTH
INSURANCE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR
PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT THEREWITH AND
ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 2.55(b) of "The Code of the City of

Miami Beach, Florida," be amended as follows:
"City. The contribution of the City on behalf of
the members shall be one-half of the cost of the
benefits provided for in the agreements as such
costs are determined by the Board, but not to
exceed thfee handfed €€€ty four hundred fifty
dollars per year for an agreement covering a
member only, nor to exceed n4ne htlndfed twenty
€4ve one thousand two hundred fifty dollars per
year for agreements covering a member and his
family..."
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 3 This ordinance shall become effective as of October
1, 1981.
