Resolution 1690 RESOLUTION NO. 1690
WHEREAS, the Ocean Drive Casino Corporation proposes to make
application to the War Department for permission to construct a
bathing enclosure and divingplatform in the Atlantic Ocean, ad-
jacent to Lots 1, 2, 3 an , Harrison and Hayes Subdivision Miami
Beach , Florida, within the municipal limits of Miami Beach , Florida,
as shown on drawings designated Sheet 1 of 3 , Sheet 2 of 3 and Sheet
3 of 3 , marked:-
" Sketch to accompany permit application to
construct a "Bathing Enclosure & Diving
Platform" in The Atlantic Ocean, Miami Beach,
Florida, for Ocean Drive Casino Corporation.
J. P. Duffy, Registered Engineer #1080, State
of Florida. November 20, 1927."
and
WHEREAS, said plans have been presented to and considered by
the City Council, and
WHEREAS, the work contemplated by the said Ocean Drive Casino
Corporation will not interfere with any plans for work :which the
said City Council has in view.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, in legal meeting assembled, that said City Coun-
cil waives, and it does hereby waive, all objections to the said pro-
posed construction.
