AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1891,
THE SAME BEING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE
BY EXCLUDING AN AREA COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE CIVIC AND
CONVENTION CENTER FROM THE MU MUNICIPAL USE DISTRICT
AND INCLUDING THE SAME IN THE CCC CONVENTION CENTER
DISTRICT; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the following described area beginning at the
intersection of Dade Boulevard and Meridian Avenue
easterly to the intersection of Dade Boulevard and Washington Avenue,
southward to the intersection of North Lincoln Lane extended to Washington
Avenue, westerly to the intersection of North Lincoln Lane and Meridian
Court then northerly along the western edge of Meridian Court for approxi-
mately 580 ft. to the south side of lot 4, block 22, Golf Course subdivision
amended plat then westerly to the centerline of Meridian Avenue, then
northerly to the intersection of Dade Boulevard and Meridian Avenue,
excluding the North 50 ft. and Lot 1 and portion of the Bridal Path
east of same less the west 3 ft. to the City of Miami Beach, Block 7 A
Golf Course Subdivision Amended Plat, according to the Plat thereof
as recorded in Plat Book 6, p. 26 of the public records of Dade County,
Florida is hereby excluded from the MU Municipal Use District and included
in the CCC Convention Center District, as said Districts are defined
and set forth in Ordinance No. 1891.
SECTION 2: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION3: This Ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon
passage in accordance with law.
