Resolution 1716 m« mew RESOLUTION NO. 1716 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the owners of the following described real property located within said city, namely: Lot Block Subdivision Owner Wreckage 7 & 8 112 Ocean Beach Addn.#4 Miami Beach Pier and Build- Corporation. ing Material be and they are hereby severally required to clear the same of and destroy weeds, undergrowth, rubbish, debris, trash and un- sightly and unsanitary matter, said real property being encumber- ed with a large amount of weeds, undergrowth, rubbish, debris or trash which is both unsightly and unsanitary and a menace to the health, convenience and welfare of the citizens of Miami Beach. Section 2. That said owners do comply with the foregoing requirement on or before February 28th, 1928, and if such re- quirement is not complied with on or before said time, the City Manager is hereby directed and authorized to cause such work to be done, keep an account thereof, report the same to this Council, whereupon the cost thereof will be made a charge and lien against the property so cleared, respectively, of the same extent and character as liens for special assessments in the Charter of said City provided for. Section 3. That notice of the foregoing requirement and limitation of time be given to said owners by publication one time in the Miami Beach Sun, a newspaper published in said City, its notice shall be in substantially the following form: "NOTICE TO REAL PROPERTY OWNERS: You are hereby notified that the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, on January 18th, 1928, adopted its resolu- tion requiring the owners of the following described real property within said City, to-wit: (Here shall be inserted the property descrip- tion to be cleared. ) to clear the same of and destroy weeds, undergrowth, rubbish, debris, trash and unsightly and unsanitary matter thereon on or before February 28th, 1928. This notice is given in behalf of said City Council of such requirement and if the said requirement is not complied with within the aforesaid time, said City will cause such work to be done and make the cost thereof a charge and lien against the property so cleared, which lien shall be forthwith due and payable.
