RESOLUTION NO. 1737
DISTRICT SR-114 SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-114
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter.
SR-114 The laying underground of an S" Terra Cotta Sanitary
Sewer, or an 8" Concrete Sanitary Sewer , and the
necessary manholes and appurtenances:
At or near the center of 42nd Street , from a point at
or near the West line of Collins Avenue to a point at
or near the East line of Indian Creek Drive;
Together with a 6" Terra Cotta, or a 6" Concrete, Sewer
Lateral, from the main Sewer to the street lines of
Lots 14 and 16, of Blocks'36 and 38, respectively, as
part of the main improvement;
As said Street , Drive, Lots and Blocks are shown on
Plats recorded in Plat Book No. 5, Pages 7 and 8, of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida; and as
said Street is named and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
And it is hereby directed that the material, nature,
character and size of said improvement be subsequently
determined in conformity with one of such descriptions.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of each kind of said improve-
ment and an estimate of the cost of each, including an estimate of
the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspec-
tion and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and
specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of notices
and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construc-
tion, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses neces-
sary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein pro-
vided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front
foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-114, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof
shall be designated as District SR-114.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of March, A. D. , 1928.
