RESOLUTION NO. 1739
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, did on the 21st day of December , A. D. , 1927 pass
a resolution requesting C. A. Renshaw, John C. Knight, W.
A. Kohlhepp, J. N. Lummus and T. J. Pancoast, acting as the
Dade County Ocean Front Protective Commission, to construct
additional ocean front protective work on behalf of the City
of Miami Beach from a point approximately 125' north of 30th
Street , Miami Beach, Florida to approximately the north line
of 32nd Street, Miami Beach, Florida, and to pay for such
work, insofar as possible, out of funds at that time in their
hands, or from further funds which the City of Miami Beach
promised to furnish them at that time, and,
WHEREAS, C. A. Renshaw, John C. Knight, W. A. Kohlhepp,
J. N. Lummus and T. J. Pancoast? acting as the Dade County
Ocean Front Protective Commission, have presented to the
City Council of the City of Miami Beach the following state-
ments, showing the amounts to be due on the said Ocean Front
Protective work:
G. 0. Reed, Inc. due February 7, 1928 first
Estimate Beach Protection Contract BP-1 Add'n $ 13 ,771.79
G. 0. Reed, Inc. due March 8, 1928 second and
Final Est. Beach Protection Contract BP-lAdd'n 8,975.49
Less: $ 1,704.00 to be paid direct by the
City of Miami Beach 1,704.00
Balance Due 7,968.45
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach , Florida, that the payments set out herein-
after be authorized to be made by C. A. Renshaw, John C. Knight ,
Y. A. Kohlhepp, J. N. Lummus and T. J. Pancoast, acting as the
Dade County Ocean Front Protective Commission, and that such
payments when so made shall be considered to have been so made
with the full approval and authority of the City of Miami Beach:

G. 0. Reed, Inc. Second and Final Estimate
