Resolution 1753 sem melp -A.- RESOLUTION NO. 1753 A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR A PUBLICITY CAMPAIGN FOR THE 1928-1929 SEASON PRO- VIDING FOR A DIRECTOR FOR SUCH CAMPAIGN AND PROVIDING COMPENSATION FOR SUCH DI- RECTOR. WHEREAS, Steve Hannagan has submitted to the Council the following proposal: "As director of the News Service, I will direct the publicity campaign from October 20, 1928 to March 25, 1929; prepare two booklets (health and general resort ); pre- pare the advertising campaign for magazines and newspapers; make one trip to Miami Beach, at my expense , to present the tenta- tive plans of the advertising and booklets; be of any possible assistance on general publicity in the East and North during the summer as well as establish contacts for the next winter for the gross sum of $ 5,000 payable in weekly allotments between October 20th and March 25th." NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows: Section 1. That said proposal be accepted and that the said Steve Hannagan be employed to conduct said publicity campaign for the season of 1925-1929, as outlined herein and at a compensation of $ 5,000.00 gross to be paid in weekly allotments commencing November 1, 1928 and extending to March 25, 1929• PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of March, A.
