RESOLUTION NO. 1764
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, EXPRESSING SYMPATHY ON THE
DEATH OF OUR ESTEEMED FELLOW CITIZEN,
MR. MERCER PAMPLIN MOSELEY.
WHEREAS, God in His infinite wisdom has taken from us on
April 25th, 1925, our esteemed fellow citizen, Mercer Pamplin
Moseley, and
WHEREAS, the deceased has been a true friend of the City
of Miami Beach and the State of Florida, and a defender of our
civic ideals, through the unselfish contribution of his thoughts
and his talents towards the upbuilding of our city and our state,
and
WHEREAS, this community believes that in his death, we
have lost a sincere friend and distinguished citizen,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, in special session assembled, that
wehereby express our sincere sympathy to the family of the late
Mercer Pamplin Moseley, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread up-
on a special page of our Minute Record and that a copy be sent
to the immediate family of our late friend, MERCER PAMPLIN
MOSELEY.
PASSED AND UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED on this 26th day of April,
