RESOLUTION NO. 1781
DISTRICT WW-9 WHITEWAY WW-9
IMPROVEMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting
forth its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City
Charter.
WW-9 COLLINS AVENUE: From the South line of 30th Street
to the South line of 44th Street, to be improved
with a White Way Light System of Ornamental Posts
and Lamps at approximately every one hundred and
twenty feet on each side of said Avenue and said
Street, with connections for lighting said Avenue,
as said Avenue and Streets are shown on Plats re-
corded in Plat Book No. 5, Pages 7 and 8, and Plat
Book No;. 8, Page 61 of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida, and as said Streets are named and
designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of said Improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the
cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the in-
spection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of
plans and specifications and estimates , the printing and
publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds,
interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the
proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated
amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Whiteway Improvement WW-9 , and the property against
which assessments tEerefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District WW-9.
