AN ORDINANCE .AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 789 .OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISH-
ING OFFICIAL CLASSIFICATIONS OF POSITIONS IN
THE CLASSIFIED SERVICE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING CHANGE IN TABLE
FOR THE CLASSIFICATION OF DEPUTY CHIEF, PURSUANT
TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE ACT, AND
PROVIDING FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THIS ORDINANCE,
AND REPEALING ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AS
AN EMERGENCY MEASURE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that portion of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 789, reading
as follows:

be and the same is amended to read as follows:

SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be
and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective as of October 1, 1974.
SECTION 4. This ordinance is hereby adopted as an emergency ordinance under
the provisions of Section 9 of the City Charter.

having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me at the door of the City Hall
in said City on the 8th day of January , 1975 ,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty
days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the said
City of Miami Beach.
