OF THE CITY; AMENDING TITLE; PROVIDING
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, REPEAL CLAUSE, INCLUSION
IN CODE AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the Title of Article III of Chapter 42 of the
Code of the City of Miami Beach, which reads as follows :
"Buses and Other Vehicles Operating on Fixed Routes. "
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows :
"Buses and Other, Vehicles. "
SECTION 2 : That that portion of Section 42-47 of Chapter 42 of the
Code of the City of Miami Beach, which defines motor
vehicles and which reads as follows:
" (3) Which vehicles shall be operated as a means
of local transportation within the city. "
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows :
" (3) Which vehicles shall be operated as a means
of local transportation within the city or from
points within the city to points within the
suburban territory of the city, as defined by
Florida Statute Section 323. 01 (12) . "
SECTION 3 : All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4 : This ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon
passage and posting as required by law.

CLAUSE, REPEAL CLAUSE, INCLUSION IN CODE AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
having been passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, has been posted by me at the door of the City Hall
in said City on the 27th day of May , 1975,
and that said Ordinance remained posted for a period of at least thirty
days in accordance with the requirements of the City Charter of the said
City of Miami Beach.
