AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 18-47
OF THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH TO
PERMIT THE SALE OF LIQUOR IN BONA FIDE RESTAURANTS,
IN THE "F" ZONE LIQUOR DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR
REPEAL; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 :
That Section 18-47 of the City Code of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida be amended to read as follows :
Section 18-47. Restrictions on sales in "F" district.
In any "F" district, the sale of liquor is prohibited
except Prem-se v ee-bafs in bona fide restaurants .
SECTION 2 : OTHER ORDINANCES
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and
the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 : SEVERABILITY
If any article, section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, or
portion of this ordinance is, for any reason, held invalid or un-
constitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion
shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and
such holding shall not effect the validity of the remaining portions
of this ordinance.
SECTION 4 : EFFECTIVE DATE
This ordinance shall take effect ten (10) days after adoption in ac-
cordance with law, on February 26 , 1983.
