RESOLUTION NO. 1825
RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, death has removed from this community,
JAMES A. ALLISON, one of the fremost builders and de-
velopers of Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS, and by his many works and deeds, including
the great hospital which bears his name, he has left be-
hind him evidence of a great life and character which will
be an inspiration for many years to those who knew him;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that in the
death of the late JAMES A. ALLISON, this community has
lost a great man, a man of vision, purpose and accomplish-
ment , and a man whom every person in this city most highly
respected and honored;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be
spread upon the Minutes of this Meeting; and that a copy
thereof be forwarded to his family.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of August , A. D. ,
1928.
