RESOLUTION NO. 1839
WHEREAS the City of Miami , Florida , has made application
to the United States Government for permission to widen
and deepen the Miami ship channel in Biscayne Bay , part
of which contemplated work would be within the city lim-
its of the City of Miami Beach , as shown upon a drawing
prepared by the said City of Miami and signed by Mr.
Welton A. Snow , their City Manager , marked
"Proposed Dredging in Miami Harbor at
Turning Basin and Main Channel -- --
Application by City of Miami , Florida" and
WHEREAS said plan has been presented and considered by
the City Council , and
WHEREAS the work contemplated by the said City of Miami
will not interfere with any plans for work which the
said City Council has in view ,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach , Florida , in legal meeting assembled ,
that the said. City Council waives , and it does hereby
waive , all objections to the said proposed dredging opera-
tions in Miami Harbor at turning basin and main channel.
Passed and adopted this 26th day of September , A. D. , 192g.

application of the U.S.Governrnent for permission to widen and.

Waiver of Objection on the part of the City of Miami Beach to
this work. If it meets the approval of your City, will you
kindly furnish us, in quadruplicate, a waiver reading something
similar to the following:
"This is to certify that the City of Miami Beach has
no objection ect ion to the dred in operations as proposed. by the
