Resolution 1840 RESOLUTION NO. l0 WHEREAS the Peninsula Terminal Company is applying to the War Depart- ment for permission to lay a. submarine water main in Biscayne Bay between the Causeway and Harbor Terminals , as shown on two drawings prepared by Registered Engineer J. P. Duffy for the said Peninsula Terminal Company , to accompany their application for permit , said drawings being designated "Sheet I of 2" and "Sheet 2 of 2 ," dated September 10 , 1923 , and entitled "Sketch to Accompany Permit Application to Lay Submarine Water Main in Biscayne Bay between Causeway and Harbor Terminals Miami Beach , Florida Peninsula Terminal Company ," and WHEREAS said planhas been presented and considered by the City Council , and WHEREAS the work contemplated by the said Peninsula Terminal Company will not interfere with any plans for work which the said City Council has in view , NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach , Florida , in legal meeting assembled , that the said City Council waives , and it does hereby waive , all objections to the proposed construction. Passed and adopted this 26th day of September , A.
