RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, W. E. Brown Engineering Company, Incorporated
proposes to make application to the War Department , on be-
half of A. D. Variell , for permission to construct timber
groins in the Atlantic Ocean adjoining Lot 239 in Fisher' s
First Ocean Front Subdivision, at Miami Beach, Florida, as
shown on a drawing prepared by the said W. E. Brown Engineer-
ing Company, Incorporated, under date of September 25 , 1928.,
and entitled:
"Sketch to accompany permit application for A. D.
Variell for Timber Groin Construction, Miami.
Beach, Florida. W. E. Brown Engineering Co. , Inc. ,
Miami , Florida." , and
WHEREAS, said plans have been presented to and consid-
ered by the City Council, and
WHEREAS, the work contemplated by the said A. D. Variell
will not interfere with any plans for work which the said City
Council has in view,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
Miami Beach, Florida, in legal meeting assembled, that the
said City Council waives, and it does hereby waive, all ob-
jections to the said proposed construction.
