Ordinance 83-2377 ORDINANCE NO. 33-2377 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, REPEALING ARTICLE XII, SECTIONS 56 - 63 OF THE RELATED LAWS ENTITLED INTOXICATING LIQUORS; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL; PRO- VIDING 'OR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND PROVIDING FOR PASSAGE AS AN EMERGENCY MEASURE. WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach has passed a new ordinance regulating the sale and distribution of intoxicating • liquors, this section of the _^.elated Laws will no longer be applicable. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That Article XII, Sections 56 - 63 of the Related Laws of the City Code of Miami Beach, Florida be repealed in its entirety. SECTION 2 . REPEALER That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 3 . SEVERABILITY If any section, sub-section, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of the Ordinance is, for any reason, held invalid or unconstitution- al by any court of competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this Ordinance. SECTION 4 . EFFECTIVE DATE This Ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon its passage as an emergency measure.
