RESOLUTION NO. 1848
DISTRICT SR-120 SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT
SR-120
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its inten—
tion to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter:
SR-120 The laying underground of an 8" Terra Cotta Sanitary
Sewer, or an 8" Concrete Sanitary Sewer, and necessary
manholes and appurtenances:
At or near the center of Collins Avenue, from the
South line of Biscayne Street to a point at or near
the center line of Inlet Boulevard produced Westerly;
Together with a 6" Terra Cotta, or a 6" Concrete Sewer
Lateral , from the Main Sewer to the Street Line of
Block 3;
As said Avenue, Street, Boulevard, Block, and lines,
are shown on a Plat recorded in Plat Book No. 6, at
Page 77, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
and as said Street is named and designated in Ordinance
No. 232.
And it is hereby directed that the material , nature,
aize and character of said improvement be subsequently
determined in conformity with one of such descriptions.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk Plans and Specifications of each kind, of said improvement
and an estimate of the cost of each, including an estimate of the
cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of Plans and Specifi—
cations and estimate, the printing and publication of notices and pro—
. ceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal
services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper
in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the
estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting
property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-120, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof
shall be designated as District SR-120.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of octoiLatz_, A.D. ,1928.
