BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting
forth its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City
Charter.
WW-10 COLLINS AVENUE: From the South line of
Biscayne Street to the South line of Inlet
Boulevard, to be improved with a White
Way Light System of Ornamental Posts and
Lamps at approximately every one hundred
and forty feet on each side of said
Avenue, with connections for lighting
said Avenue, as said Avenue, Street and
Boulevard are shown on Plats recorded
in Plat Book No. 2, at Page 38.1 and Plat
Book No. 6, at Page 77 of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, and
as said Street is named and designated in
Ordinance No. 232
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of said Improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the
cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the in-
spection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of
plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and
publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds,
interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the
proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated
alfount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Whiteway Improvement --10, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District Wei-l0.
