Resolution 1903 RESOLUTION NO. 1903
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OF AND ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLOR-
IDA, TO AUTHORIZE, DIRECT AND ORDER
FLORIDA POTER & LIGHT COMPANY TO INSTALL,
CONNECT AND/OR SERVE ADDITIONAL STREET
LIGHTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MUNICIPAL
STREET LIGHTING AGREEMENT DATED THE 19TH
DAY OF MAY, 1924, NOW IN EFFECT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AND
FLORIDA POWER &. LIGHT COMPANY, AND PRE-
SCRIBING THE FORM OF ORDER BY WHICH SER-
VICE TO ADDITIONAL STREET LIGHTS SHALL BE
AUTHORIZED.
WHEREAS, a Municipal Street Lighting Agreement
dated May 19th , 1924 is now in effect between the
City of Miami Beach, Florida and Florida Power &
Light Company, which Agreement provides for service
to additional street lights owned by the Company,
and
WHEREAS, from time to time it is necessary and
advisable to have additional street lights served in
the City of Miami Beach , Florida, under the said
Agreement.
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Coun-
cil of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the City
Illanaer of and on behalf of the City of Miami Beach ,
Florida be and he hereby is authorized , as he shall
deem it necessary and' advis6ble from time to time, to
authorize , direct and order Florida Power & Light Com-
pany to install , connect and/or serve additional street
lights within the corporate limits of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida in accordance with the terms and condi-
tions of of the Municipal Street Lighting Agreement dated
May 19th , 1924- now in effect between the City and the
Company , by transmitting to Florida Power & Light Com-
pany at its office in the City of Miami Beach , Florida,
a written order signed by the said City Manager and in
form substantially as follows:
"To Florida Power & Light Company, No.
Miami Beach , Florida.
Gentlemen:
The City of Miami Beach hereby
authorizes , directs and orders Florida
Power & Light Company to install , con-
nect and/or serve certain street lights
described as to size , type and location
as follows:
