RESOLUTION No. 1017
DISTRICT BH-5 BULKHEAD IMPROVEMENT
BH-5
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Section 29 of the City Charter:
BH COLLINS CANAL. A waterway in said City to be bulkheaded
on the sout - erly line thereof with a concrete bulkhead
together with the necessary backfill, from a point which is
one hundred and ninety four feet easterly of the intersection
of the southerly line of the said Collins Canal with the

line of Collins Canal with the said east line of Bay Road;
As said Canal and Road are shown on a plat recorded in
Plat Book No. 6, Page 114 of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida.
Which Bulkhead and Backf ill the City Council hereby deems
to be a special benefit to all of,the following property:
Lots 10 and 11 of Block 41 of Belleview Subdivision
as shown on a prat recorded in Plat Book No. 6, Page 114
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
And the total cost of said Bulkhead Improvement shall be
assessed against the above described property in pry►
portion to the special benefits derived.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of said Improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the
cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the in-
spection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of
plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and pub-
lication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds,
interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the
proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated
amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Bulkhead Improvement B5.51 and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District BH .
PASSED AND ACCEPTED this 2nd day of . J nuary
