AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING
SECTION 36-13 .1 OF THE MIAMI BEACH CITY CODE
BY ADDING SECTION 36-13 . 1 (d) PROVIDING FOR AN
EXEMPTION FOR TEMPORARY ROOF SIGNS ON CITY
OWNED PROPERTY; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERA-
BILITY; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1.
That Chapter 36 of the Code of the City of Miami Beach is
hereby amended by adding a new section which shall read as
follows:
Section 36-13. 1 (d)
Temporary roof signs on City-owned property shall be exempted
from this ordinance.
Section 2 . Repealer.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be
and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 3 . Severability.
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, or
portion of this Ordinance is, for any reason, held invalid or
unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such
portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent
provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions of this Ordinance.
Section 4 . Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall take effect 10 days after its adoption
on June 15th , 1984 .
