RESOLUTION NO. 1952
WHEREAS, The Southern Bell Telephone and Tele-
graph Company proposes to make apolication to the
War Department for permission to lay a submarine ca-
ble across the draw span of the Venetian Way Bride
at Belle Isle across ',Biscayne Bay , 7,:itrii2 the i uri
cipal limits of Miami Beach, Florida , as shown upon
a drawing of one sheet marked:
"Proposed Submarine Cable Across Draw
Span Venetian Way Bridge at Belle
Isle across Biscayne Bay
Application by:- Sou. Bell Te. & Tel. Co.
April 10 , 1929. ~ . F. M."
and,
WHEREAS, said plans have been presented to and
considered by the City Council, and
WHEREAS , the work contemplated by the said Sou-
thern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Company will not
interfere with any plans for work which the said City
Council has in view,
NOW, THE tFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Coun-
cil of Miami Beach, Florida , in le-,a1 meetin-r assem-
bled, that the said City Council waives, and it does
hereby waive , all objections to the said proposed con-
struction.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of April , A. D.
