AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1980 COMPREHENSIVE
DEVELOPMENT PLAN OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
AND THE MAPS ATTACHED THERETO BY EXCLUDING
A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND FROM THE
RECREATIONAL AND OPEN SPACE CLASSIFICATION;
INCLUDING THE SAME IN THE RESIDENTIAL 9-2'a
UNITS/ACRE CLASSIFICATION; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE. (West side of Collins Ave. -76th to
79th Sts.)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the following parcels of land:
Blocks 21, 22 and 23, Altos Del Mar No. 1,
Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 30,
Page 4, of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, (West side of Collins Avenue between
76th and 79th Streets),
be and the same are hereby excluded from the Recreational and Open Space
classification and included in the Residential 0-24 units/acre classification of the
1980 Comprehensive Development Plan of the City of Miami Beach.
SECTION 2: REPEALER. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: SEVERABILITY. If any section, sub -section, sentence, clause phrase,
or portion of this Ordinance is, for any reason, held invalid or unconstitutional by
any court of any competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate,
distinct and independent provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of
the remaining portions of this Ordinance.
SECTION 4: EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall take effect 10 days after
adoption on July 17th , 1982.
