RESOLUTION NO. 1980
WHEREAS the Streets and road-ways on that Island
known as RIVO ALTO in the City of Miami Beach , Florida,
have been heretofore dedicated to the use of the prop-
erty owners on said Island , and
WHEREAS said property owners are now desirous
that the maintenance and supervision of said Streets
be taken over by the said City of Miami Beach , and
WHEREAS the said Streets have in fact been open
to the public as public streets and used as such for
more than five (5) years , last past; and whereas , said
City has already exercised some supervision over said
Streets and furnished a certain amount of Street Light-
ing thereon, all at the request and with the consent
and acquiescence of said property owners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and
the City Council of the City of Miami Beach , Florida,
that said Streets be and the same are hereby taken over
for purposes of maintenance , repair and supervision as
fully and to all intents and purposes as though said
Streets had been duly dedicated to the use of the Pub-
lic and said City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of May , A. D.
