Resolution 1981 RESOLUTION NO. 1981
WHEREAS, The Southern Bell Telephone and Tele-
graph Company proposes to make application to the
War Department for permission to lay a submarine tele-
phone cable in Biscayne Bay between Causeway and Har-
bor Terminals, within the municipal limits of Miami
Beach, Florida, as shown upon drawings of two sheets
marked:
" Sketch to accompany permit application
"Lay submarine Telephone Cable" in Bis-
cayne Bay between Causeway & Harbor
Terminals, Miami Beach, Fla.
Southern Bell Telephone & Telegraph Co.
Application 5-15-1929"
and,
WHEREAS, said plans have been presented to and
considered by the City Council, and
WHEREAS, the work contemplated by the said Sou-
thern Bell Telephone hone and Telegraph Company will not
interfere with any plans for work which the said City
Council has in view,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE SO LVED by the City Coun-
cil of Miami Beach, Florida, in legal meeting assem-
bled, that the said City Council waives, and it does
hereby waive, all objections to the said proposed con-
st ruct i on.
